This hourly wage calculator converts your gross annual salary into what it’s worth per hour, day, week and month, based on your schedule and vacation days.
How much your working hour is worth
Going from an annual salary to what you earn per hour helps put your time in perspective: comparing offers with different schedules, valuing overtime, or deciding if extra work is worth taking on.
The formula: hourly wage = annual gross ÷ (weeks worked × days/week × hours/day).
Example: €30,000 a year
With a gross salary of €30,000, an 8-hour day, 5 days a week and 22 vacation days, you work 1,904 hours a year, so your hourly wage comes out to about €15.76 gross (around €126.05 a day).
